Collection contains twenty-three photocopied newspaper articles relating to the formation, training, and deployment of the three platoons that formed the "Mormon Battalion" in the U.S. Marines. Includes lists of the sixty-three members and their ranks. Also contains an article celebrating the original Mormon Battalion of the 19th century. Includes many photographs of the group as a whole and of individual soldiers.
